Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It’s worth a visit just for the photo of the palace and sign outside. But honestly inside... I don’t imagine you will spend Long in there. It’s still worth going to view the outside as it’s extremely picturesque.

The carvings are spectacular. The Four Buddhas are totally beautiful and amazing. The stories around every corner are endless and fascinating. A truly beautiful place.

In the 1990th reconstructed Palace from the 16th century with Thronpalace and living palace from wooden material. Good presentation of the royal live and ceremonies. Origional statues of this place were moved to the National Museum in Yagon.

The palace is quite impressive. The architecture is very interesting and by the time you get here, a welcome change from all the pagodas you have likely already been to. The original was burned, but this recreation is still worth the walk through.

The original was burnt down long back. It has been rebuilt honestly, so use your imagination as to what went on and how exquisite life must have been for a king. Really think its a tourist attraction rather than a historical entity?

It is an impressive golden palace but has very little information spread around the palace. It can be improved with more information regarding the king and the palace.

This is a re-built palace and they show you the old timber posts taken down from the original building. One has to be observant to see the beauty of the palace eg the ceiling, internal construction, etc. I went to the rear of the palace where the crowds were not there and took some nice pictures.

It's better to see/photo from outside. Inside the first room is ok, but nothing special. I don't think this is a must see.
