Among 5-6 others, St. Stephen's is Nessebar's best Church. If you don't want to buy a combo ticket at the museum allowing you entrance to all of them, then do pay a separate one at Church's entrance (3 euros if I remember correctly). Beautiful 16...More

Went as part of our tour so we were lucky enough to have a guide who knew a lot about the frescos inside the church. A beautiful place that has an interesting history.

This church was recommended as he best to visit in Nessebar. It has some beautiful old colourful icons but there are no explanatory panels to explain what you are looking at. Worth a visit to see an old Bulgarian orthodox church but not an attraction...More

This place was extremely beautiful and interesting. It would have been slightly better if you were actually informed on what each icon or artwork was etc..

Hi, sorry just replied to your question but I mistakenly answered for another church I visited. For St Stephens, get a bus to Old Nessabar or can drive.
