Small but great!!!

Amazing work developed by biology researchers. Feeding time is 16:30. Don't miss it! Very knowlegeable monitors. Kids love to see the sting rays and baby turtles and sharks!

Aracaju is not a place with a lot to do, so a quick 1.5h visit here was great on a cloudy day. I thought it was bigger , but like many animal projects in Brazil it is nicely done. They have large tortoises and sharks, and feedings as well. The submarine experience is great for kids too. Staff is nice... More

If you dont know the projecto tamar its interesting to visit. The main atraction is the sharks that you can touch (they are not white sharks...) and going there to see then have food. For me it was a bit too much to see everyone touching the sharks... Its no repect for the animals.

One of the greatest projects I've ever seen. Something for the whole family. The aquarium is small but well organized. Don't forget to buy a souvenir. Part of the money helps saving the turtles and maintaining the aquarium.

This must be much more interesting for small kids than adults. It was very small and the information available very superficial. They had a shark feeding 15 minutes later when I went but it was so boring I didn't want to sit around and wait. Not worth my money, but I guess if you'd like to see some tiny turtles... More
