Beautiful!

We passed through here for a work trip, and 10 minutes at the beach was torture! Seems laid back, great family place. I want to go back!

I simply love Barra. It has everything you need. You have the Barra beach, good for surfers and similar sports. Then the Prainha, extra quite and nice. And also a great hiking to the "piscinas naturais" (natural pools) in the open sea. Awesome. You have also nice places for dinner (nothing too fancy, but OK).

this is a lovely beach, but if you go off down the trails you will get some stunning views and photos and also end up at rocky areas where you can enter the water and a little quieter than the beach

A nice, smaller beach with good family and surf vibe. Clear water and safe. Good for surf lessons with Evandro!

This beach is amazing, it has all the infrastructure needed to spend the day, restaurants, local business selling beverages, bikinis and clothes! There is also a canal that can be used to swim, although there is boat traffic. It is ideal for families with kids! The only problem is the traffic to get to the beach because it is located... More

This little bit of Moçambique beach which stretches on for miles and miles and is just gorgeous. A couple of beach bars if you want, if not go a little further and you'll have pure nature. Waves are breaking very long which makes it easy to learn. Check out a local surf school called Evandro Santos. Best place to learn... More

Really worth while visiting! Beautiful beaches, very friendly people, good restaurants. Best pasteis are here on the beach but please try as well all the fresh fish.

Cute village, good lunch bars. Beach itself not too great but you can walk this one all the way by a national park if you want to get away from the crowd. In the village you can cross the blue bridge for a 15 min walk to some natural pools with beautiful views!

Very good beach for having a bit of surf, the best is to go in the morning or whenever there's not too much people!! As usual!!

That's my preferred beach as a local... Great beach to learn surf, very friendly people, and very clean as well.
