The viaduct is impressive but not as spectacular as similar structures in Europe. More interesting is the yellow tram that travels across the top of the viaduct on its way to Santa Teresa.

Passed it during a walk in Lapa. It’s there. It’s white. Occasionally there is yellow tram passing on top. Maybe the history is more interesting.

And you will see it if you are going to see the Seleran steps. But be warned this is not a safe area! Lots of homeless and crack heads hang around. Take a guide.
