The Bike tour that Bruno took us on is the best way to get to know Rio up close and personal. We loved listening to him explain and talk about Brazil/Sth American History throughout our ride, his knowledge is fantastic. Even when it poured with rain and the streets of downtown Rio flooded we had so much fun riding in... More

Marcello was an excellent host in accommodating myself and my colleague on a specialized tour through Tijuca National Park. We biked up to Christ The Redeemer (our request) and it was a hard, but a fantastic climb and accomplishment. We saw monkeys along the path and dunked our heads in a natural waterfall. It was a perfect adventure for my... More

Bruno is an exceptional guide. Informed, entertaining, and candid about the complexities of Brazil. He is also a great storyteller. We spent the whole day and more on the tour - it was meant to finish at 4 but we kept going until 5:30. Most of the routes are on bicycle paths, and shaded, with stops for coconuts in places... Bruno was awesome! He was so knowledgable of Brazilian history which we all found fascinating. We traveled with our 75 year old active parents and Bruno was super accommodating to their needs, which we really appreciated. The bike tour was a great way to get an overview of the city on our first day there. We highly recommend Bike in... More

My wife and I had a personal tour of the beaches and lagoons of Rio. Bruno was our tour guide and he was fantastic. He stopped along the route to let us know about the history and events that have taken place along the lagoon, Ipanema and Copacabana. He was knowledgeable and friendly and loves to talk about CR Flamengo.... More

Staying in Copacabana

Neighbourhood Profile
The rowdy Copacabana is one of the most traditional and old areas from Rio de Janeiro. This neighbourhood is a blend of Brazilian soul - crowded, rowdy and traditional. This neighbourhood has a bit of everything: bars with music, pubs, street fairs, chaotic streets, and many shops. All these things and more live side-by-side. There are options for all price points and tastes. However, the most powerful draw in Copacabana is still the fantastic view of the coast and the incredible beaches.
