The CCBB is a cultural center that consists of exhibition rooms, three theaters, a library, cinema, and a video room. It is housed in an art deco style building located in what used to be the financial district of Rio de Janeiro.

The Rio Harp Festival is in May every year. Wonderful event. Some of the concerts are held in Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil.

This is a place that you can choose what to do. There are a library, a good restaurant, cinemas and a museum.

A fantastic place, with a complete exposition of almost all of Salvador Dali. CCBB is a most beautiful building which houses several events. This one particularly beautiful.

Thats probably the hottest cultual spot in Rio. It is possible to see incredible exhibitions, movies as well as it is situated nesr Porto Maravilha, a brand new part of the city. On weekends it gets crowded, mainly in the morning. A place to visit...More

It should be included in any tour of downtown Rio de Janeiro. It initially housed the Brazilian Chamber of Commerce and currently is a museum and theater owned by Banco do Brasil, the state bank. Eventual expositions are usually interesting. Parking is not available.

Amazing cultural center with beautiful exhibits located in a renovated bank space, built in 1880, with neoclassical inspiration in the old business center of Rio. The quality of the exhibits is first class. Be careful wondering around CCBB. Recommend a taxi ride back and forth.

There was a few exhibits but they were kinda disappointing. For example they have the history of money and its about 3 rooms of collections of monies. Then they have another "exhibit" which is a history of the Bank of Brasil and its 4 empty...More

i agree with all the answers above. it´s not safe. mainly on sunday. if you have no choice you can do it on a saturday morning because the shops stays open until 13:00hs.

Helo Berka, the Kandinsky exhibition finish at CCBB Rio de Janeiro in March 30 Th, i m note sure after CCBB RJ the exhibition will go to Brasília. Haverá a Good time!
