You get 2 cable cars up to the top, people working there are lovely. You might have a nervous breakdown on the ride up there due to the multiple "aged" cabel cars laying amongst the trees but the view from the top is superb.

The management is to be blamed. No one seemed to be in-charge of the operation. We spent 3 hours at least in queuing up for cable cars carrying us up and down the mountain. Hot, exhausted and totally lacked information. Once up the mountain, ordering...More

Fabulous views over Rio. Get there early though. Great cable car ride. We did this as a combination trip with Redeemer & BBQ lunch through Amigo tours ! Worth ever penny. Paolo was our guide who made our trip amazing.

No trip to Rio would be complete without a visit to Sugarloaf Mountain. Incredible views. Could have stayed a lot longer just taking in the city laid out before us.

The cable car is a experience that everyone should have. The mountain offers great views of the city, including Red Beach and Copacabana Beach.

Another one of the classic tourist spots of Rio, this is reached via two sequential cable cars. Once atop the mountain, you can get spectacular views all around the city. Wonderful views of Copacabana Beach and the Redeemer Statue.

In addition to the great panoramic view of the city, the beaches, the mountains, the Christ, the two stage ride up in the gondola was fun and interesting. Plenty of places to look out in all directions, so the crowds were not a huge issue.

greatest natural treasures: Sugarloaf Mountain (Pao de
Acucar). It is said that the locals in Urca are “bon
