I arrived at 8am when it opened because I was waiting to do something later in the day. Nice hiking trails, short but steep. The views of the lake area were fantastic. Worth a visit if you have an hour.

Considering Lagoa is a spot no one is going to miss, be sure to go to Lagoa close to this park and all you'll have to do to visit is cross the avenue. There are great options for kids, teens and adults and if you're...More

I have been in Rio more than 10 times and never went to this place. But it is worth the visit. There are some scenic trails where you will have some spetacular views of the city. Take care of the sun and carry much water.

The park is hard to access via public transport, but a quick 20 minute hike gives a great view of the Lagoa!

Catacumba, besides being a beautiful park, hosts an adventure park inside. It is a very nice program for a family with chuldren from 5-14 years old. Kids would love it!

I´ve never heard about this park and discovered to be the one best maintained and with a lot and great activities available there like trails, tree climbing and tyrolese.

Catacumba park has a nice view of Lagoa Rodrigues de Freitas, but to be honest besides that, there is not much to do.

This hidden place is very close to the Lagoa, the hike is short but it can be a little irregular/steep at times (maybe not for very small children, unless you can carry them!), the view from the top is very nice and worth the hike....More
