If you want to have the full experience of this waterfall it is a must to toboggan, the waterfall is incredible and a little bit up there is another one also beatiful - Tanzan's warerfall!

This is one of the most beautiful place to visit in Paraty, if you like adventure you can try surfing on the "toboggan", if not like me you can take some pictures! Easy to access.

well it always depends with what you compare. for me personally it is ok to escape the heat in town paraty. but beside that it's nothing special.

I would definitely recommend heading over to the Taboga if staying in Paraty. Simply take a bus from Paraty's main bus station to "Penha" and get off 20 minutes later once you reach a sign that states Taboga. The locals will let you know once...More

Stopped by on our way to Paraty just prior lunch. The site was packed and the was no organization at the restaurant. The waterfall was not a large complex, however it was nice and easy access. The restaurant was a disaster. Half full, all tables...More

Great to do some rocksliding and watch the lcoals do it properly. Little restaurant close by. Definitly worth a half day trip

We took a little detour from Paraty to go to the Cachoeira and don't regrer this for one second. Even though the road towards the waterslide can be a little tricky with all the holes and cracks, this only added to the adventure. The slide...More

The waterfalls and the natural slide look a little intimidating at first but once we tried it we couldn't stop!!! the ride can get abit bumpy but it's worth it!!!

Excellent choice if you are looking for an adventure for your teenagers. Arrive as early as possible, after 10:30 is gets packed.

The locals really help you to enjoy this crazy waterfall slide!! Great day out with some friends. Also has a restaurant/bar and is perfect for a sunny day outing.
