Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It`s a place near our inn so we went there in the afternoon on the day we arrived, There is a pier and many restaurants near the pier but the sea is not so great as are the other beaches in Armacao de Buzios.

Manguinhos is one of the less touristy beaches of Buzios but well worth a visit.
If you start off at Porto da Barra where the restaurants and bars are by the pier and walk along you will soon come to the sandy part which then stretches for 3 kilometres or more all the way to the canal entrance to Buzios Marina. You wont have to walk that far, however, to find a good spot to sit and relax and go for a swim. On weekdays you won't find many people; Manguinhos is only popular with locals and so is only busy at weekends.
Ask at the Clube da Velas to hire a dinghy and go for a sail - or walk out onto the pier. Either way you will be sure to spot a couple of turtles swimming quite close to the shore.
The sand is gently shelving, perfect for kids and there are no chairs or sunshades for hire and none of the hassle sometimes experienced at Buzios' more famous beaches.

This beach is HUGE! We took a cab to the middle where there is a big pier you can walk out on. It has really nice views. The area we were in seemed to be a dense fishing area so it was really interesting to see all the different boats. The restaurants looked nice but were expensive so we, just got a couple beers at the bar next the pier and sat on the beach.

Great place for water sports, hot water, and the best sunset view in Búzios.
