Positive points: the beach is beautiful and clean!!
Negative points: it's HELL the roasting of bags from street vendors, from GAV people talking about the resort, from competitors saying: get out of here, it's cheaper here. There is no peace here! Anyone who has been to the beaches of São Paulo, Guarujá for example, this is it. Loud music and people annoying you all the time. I stayed at Bar da Praia, the structure is good, but this is my view of the beach (look at the photos) only street vendors!

We found the access to the beach poorly signposted - it really seemed like there was only one place to park (10 reais) and an additional 10 reais per person to go down to the beach and stay at the Beach Bar. The prices there are very expensive and there is constant traffic from street vendors. Our experience with Bar da Praia was that it is expensive and that there are other options on the beach. The prices are high and they still charge a service fee. But when you park your car, you don't know this because there are no signs for visitors. It seems it wasn't just our opinion - the place was full when we left for the Kayak tour and when we returned the place was empty and the remaining customers were fighting over high prices. Employees at other locations said it was always like this.

The beach is beautiful and the kayak trip to the reef is worth it, as are the photos taken by Fotos Muro Alto, with the fish in the water.

I just don't recommend the Beach Bar in Muro Alto.

The beach is good, calm sea (no waves due to the coral wall). We were approached by the company GAV right at the entrance to present a deal for shares in a resort, they said it would take 30 minutes, but we stayed there for more than 1 hour...
We paid for a kayak (50 reais) to go close to the coral wall, I thought the experience was cool, but it doesn't even compare to the natural pools. When you rent a kayak, you also get standup (if you're interested).
I think it's cool to visit because it's one of the main beaches in Ipojuca, but it wasn't the place we liked most

It's not worth paying $350 real to get a ride in a buggy. You can rent a car for $95 reais and make the trip on your own much more comfortable.
It is a very quiet and shallow beach, unlike natural pools, here you will not see many fish or reefs. I think there are much more beautiful activities in the area, but it is worth exploring for a while and then continuing on to other destinations.

Muro Alto beach is sensational, it has crystal clear, calm waters and a reef that you can visit by raft. The natural pools of Maragogi leave nothing to be desired. It's a very quiet place, just avoid the northernmost part which is full of tourists near Ana's tent. If you like more peace and quiet, the southernmost part is more recommended. All Resorts and condominiums in this region have access to the beach. Only access is a little precarious due to the construction of new hotels in the surrounding area.

The buggy ride included a visit to Muro Alto, the truth is that it left a lot to be desired. The man in the buggy told us that it was the best area of natural pools to observe the fish, they showed us a kayak to take us, we paid R$130, with 10 photos included. A real disaster, the water cloudy, standing still, not clear at all.
Place not recommended at all!
The best natural pools are in Praia do Cupé, you don't need to pay to enter, and the natural pools are beautiful! They sell you food to give to the fish, which is optional. We see it the same regardless of food.
High wall is disastrous!!!!

Beautiful beach but looks like a lake. Very strong smell.
It's worth a quick trip, renting a kayak (60 reais) to cross and get to the rocks of the wall with pools and lots of fish. Be very careful with the stones, what is beautiful is also dangerous because the stones cut a lot. It is important to bring slippers.
They sell (and expensive) fish food (20 reais for a bag of chup chup or saclé)

The beach itself is very beautiful, calm, warm and crystal clear waters, with natural pools ideal for children. What takes away from the shine of this place are the structures, improvised kiosks with expensive tents and exclusive access for guests of the condominiums located on the seafront. If you're not staying at one of these locations, you won't have easy access to the beach. Access is very restricted to condominiums. In some places where there is still access to the beach, anyone with a car has to suffer extortion from guards who do not comply with their obligations.
It's a public alley that the custodians took over for themselves and charge as if it were parking. The beach is beautiful, it deserves a 5, but there is no way to evaluate it without taking its surroundings into account.

We went to know the beach of Muro Alto and immediately we were approached by an employee at GAV (real estate enterprise) we paid R$ 20,00 for parking. The GAV took over the place, always wanting to push us to sell quotas at their Resort. That by the way has their employees in the center of Porto de Galinhas (where are the restaurants and shops) at all times approaching you and asking to do a search to meet the vacationer who may end up visiting the enterprise, in Muro Alto. In the environment of the enterprise has flannelines charging for parking...

The high-walled beach is an example of how Porto de Galinhas has become a reservoir of resorts. Just like the vast majority of tents, day use is charged. There it was taken by a group of entrepreneurs who also partnered with the tent and the prices are absurd. In addition, the sea was taken by kayaks and standup paddle boards, out the carts for sale of products that prevent you from seeing the sea.
