Nice collection

Not everyone knows that Brazil sent troops to Italy to fight the Germans there. This museum shows much of the equipment these soldiers were working with, along with some photos of the snowy conditions. Uniforms, weapons, decorations, communication devices, and a few stories. At the entrance there are two artillery guns and a sea mine. The really big equipment is stationed outside, in front of the building, though. A tank/armoured car, a plane, a torpedo, and another artillery piece. I believe entrance was free, although I can't really remember.

Cool small museum in Curitiba
Jan 2019 • Friends
Detailed history of Brazillian participation in the Second World War with lots of artifacts. Free entry. We took just over an hour to cover the rooms. The outside grounds are worth a quick visit too if you are nearby and the museum is closed.

Marvellous

A very touching museum. Well kept,
Some rare war memorabilia, this museum gives the visitor the feeling of suffering, of people who went to war to save their values. It tells some of the difficulties brazilian soldiers endured. Many nice and priceless objects, photos, weapons.
A small wonder in Curitiba.

In the centre of the city.

Small museum in the centre of the city, with items mainly about the second world war in Europe and Asia. Not really suitable for little children.

Important cultural and historical visit
Sep 2018 • Family
The museum is located near the city center and is easily accessed by bus. However, it does not offer accessibility for wheelchair users or people with limited mobility. Visitors do not have to pay any fees simply by filling a name, age, and city of origin in a book.
All exhibited pieces are accompanied by explanatory panels in Portuguese and English. The museum tells an important and little known part of the contemporary history of Brazil. The interested visitor will be able to understand how the country's involvement in World War II (WWII) occurred, as well as the difficulties of the expeditionaries and their victories.
It is a cultural and historical visit, particularly for young people who know little about this segment of Brazil's history in the great world wars.

Awesome museum, must go place for history fans. Brazilian participation in WW2 was not huge in numbers, but there was no lack of courage, as you can see here.
