One of the most beautiful places in the world. Salted water mixed with river water gives the ocean an amazing color. The thin sand looks like sugar and the natural landscape makes you forget the urban world! The princess lake is amazing! The color of the lake seems that is coca cola inside it and the water is warm but... More

This is a must go attraction. The island is really beautiful and rustic. The seashore is wonderful and the beaches sand are thin and white. Because it is in the north of Brazil, the water is warm on the top and lightly cooler on your legs...

Go to Maruda city, far 3 hours from Belem going north. There in Maruda take the boat and get ready for an experience in an island where no cars and no infrastructure are waiting for you. Check your health first, then if you don´t need a hospital nearby neither a drugstore, then go. And enjoy the lonely beach of the... More

One of the best Island to know in Pará. You have to travel by car or bus and then take a small boat to get there but it's totally worth it! If you enjoy adventure and beaches you must get to know it there.

Algodoal is a beautiful place to visit a worthy journey out of Belém the capital of Pará State North of Brazil. It is a 3 hours driving trip into good conditions roads until Marudá, where you will park your car (you will have many options of places to do so and it is a additional cost about R$ 10,00 a... Imagine entering a car-free island just 45 min ashore from mainland Brazil. Horsedrawn "taxis". By high tide a small boat rows you to the start of a3.5 km long, white beach. Several small cafes serves you whatever you need. A choice of nice lodges close to the ocean. This is just what you need at vacation.

What amazing place! Once there we can feel the meaning of paradise. So quiet, so beautiful, that seems we are lost in time. No motor vehicles autorized, no tarmac, no pollution...what else do we need? Go and enjoy the nature without people around. No night life, luckly you may have a reggae night...all night!

Popular with some of the hippy crowd. Lovely beaches particularly if you go as far as you can and the beach becomes almost completely unspoilt.
