Enjoyed the cultural Park and wandering around Historic centre and downtown Porto Seguro.

Expensive food and a lot of Argentinians in mobs looking for drugs, period. I was really really really happy at this specific day so that didn't concerned me at all. Wouldn't go back. I was told that this weird situation is actually frequent. So... No.

It's a very beautiful place. There are some houses built around 1530, three churches, and a delightful view of some Porto Seguro's beaches. It's recommended to accept the help of a guide, that charges by around BRL 30 to tell you all the things, even take photos of you. There you could buy pau-brasil's seeds. I think this is an... More

While not nearly as interesting as the centro historic of Salvador, this small hilltop settlement is worth visiting. The view is wonderful. The houses charming.

The old city of Porto Seguro has a lot of history. You will see the first Church in our wonderful town which was built over 500 years ago. The view from this mountain top location overlooks the Atlantic Ocean and Porto Seguro. Visit our local shops. Enjoy the Tours and observe the locals make Chocolate from Cacau.

This a place that people visit with emotion as it is where Brazil was discovered (Praia de Cabraial) but the place by itself is not very attractive. There are some building from the colonial times but not a lot to visitt

We spent 1-1.5 hours wandering the old town, beautiful old buildings and great photo ops everywhere. Cute little shops to visit, prices were the same as in the shopping area. Had to pay to use a toilet so be aware of that. A little tricky to get a taxi from old town when you want to leave so ask for... More

The historical centre of Porto Seguro is a place to go if you are visiting the city for the wonderful beaches, but also for its history. It was in Porto Seguro where the Portuguese arrived when they discovered Brazil in 1500. The whole city is very small and even the airport is about 5 minutes from the city by car/taxi.... More
