I ate breakfast here (try the tapioca with tucumã and banana/cheese) and then popped into the little shops. Little touristy things and some interesting food items. Most of the stalls sell the same items but it's fun to look around.

This is a locally famous market constructed out of steel imported from the UK in the last century. it sells a range of general goods and not just fish and fruit/veg. Well worth a visit

Beautiful old building with a large assortment of shops with all the traditional fish,meat,fruit,and vegetables. Lots of Amazonia products. A fun visit.

Great Fun walking the aisles lots of artisans for tourists. A few cafes for food, lots of meat and fish for sale and local medicines too!

This is a good starting place to explore. It sells a lot of herbal products in one area. Majority is different fish/seafood section. The sellers are wearing white uniform. Nice,friendly people. They don't mind taking photos but we still asked first.
