We are highily recommended by the best travel book and through the best travel foruns what most count to receive excellent reviews is our experience working for many years in tourism and that we take you deep in the jungle where only the local people and our jungle lodge base are there no other lodge is near to us, we have the best recommendation through the best traveller books and through the best traveler foruns. Sustainable tourism is our priority, we are the only Tourism agency who has done several social services around our Amazonian region for several times. Amazon Gero Tours advises you: Please, do not trust unauthorized people at the airport using good companies names to offer you tourism information, taxi or jungle tours, do pay attention when they approach you in front of the hostels even if they say they work for the hotel. Some Hostels and Hotels staffs use to offer you Jungle tours, jungle lodges or boat tours that they have never seen, just because a fat commission.

I will break this review into two parts: 1: the personnel and 2: The lodging experience. 1: The personnel: Top notch, no worries. The transfer from the airport to our hotel was great. The meeting the next morning at our hotel with another guide who explained in more detail what to expect, what to bring, answered any and all questions... More

First the pros... They are extremely reliable, everything they promised us, they really did. They are all extremely punctual, nice, friendly, easy to communicate with. They picked us at the airport, as planned and they came to pick us at the hotel the following day, no delays. The transportation to the jungle lodge is fun, we could see the meeting... More

We bought 4 days/ 3 night package and we really enjoyed it. The agency is very well organised (suprisingly well considering you are in Brazil ;-) ), all of the people who work for Gero were very nice and helpful. Our guide was Anselmo (small men but with big heart) who knows almost everything about the jungle and he made... More

I was at the Amazon Forest just 1 weeks ago an Amazon Gero has provided such an authentic experience of the Amazon. Firstly, Geraldo (the owner) is very easy going and easy to deal with. I have been communicating with him on Whatsapp and he is prompt in answering all my questions. Secondly, upon arrival at the office they were... More

Had a great 3 day trip on the Amazon - plenty of wildlife and beautiful nature. Big thank you to Anselmo, who proved to be an excellent guide. He was very knowledgeable, spotted lots of animals and was able to share plenty of information and stories (in excellent English). He was also very receptive and accommodating to the group, which... In the amazing Amazon lies the lodge of Gero tours. I stayed 4 nights. Booked a private lodge. Was fine, only the mosquito net didn't really fit the bed. The excursions were awesome. Our guide Conrad is an expert. The facilities are simple and the food mainly consists of rice, beans and meet. Not a lot of fruits and veggies.... More

We stayed 3 nights in Dec 2017 and had an absolutely great time. Communication was easy all the way through the booking process and we just paid when we got to Manaus before going into the jungle. Our flight came in later so we went into the jungle in the afternoon - trip by bus/boat/camper/boat and we saw caymans in... More
