It's an urban beach so you can't expect it to be like a paradise beach. But it's a nice one and you have greatbars there.

The beach is very busy and not very clean. In the mornings the tide is down and there is seaweed and garbage washed up on shore. The farther north you walk on the beach, the more north east you walk on the beach, the more...More

A great walk along the beach. Fishing boats and palm trees make for some great photos. Plenty of opportunities to grab a umbrella, chair and coconut too!

Natural swimming pools formed when low tide and for few bucks a local fisherman can take you there lend you snorkels and offer you caipirinhas and make a very lovely family activity safe for toddlers which I saw and witnessed their excitement

This beach is located almost in the city centre. The beach is fully serviced with bars, restaurants and toilet facilities. Water and the beach is just beautiful, so nothing not to like.

A friendly and safe beach with calm waters. SUP is possible and only R$30 per hour. Owing to a sea wall, the waters are very warm. Definitely a place to go

Not a very good beach, many waves and strong currents, and sometimes a little windy. Best options are Ipioca and Gunga beach.

We come here now and then and enjoy it very much, there are many good flights into Maceió and many nice hotels and restaurants along the beach, what I don't about it is the smell of urine all over, I think that because of the...More

A relatively normal beach, nothing special by brazilian standards. The barraca we visited had good service and was cheap. Only drinks served. No shower or toalets.
