I do not consider myself a weapons person but the historical aspect of the displays is totally fascinating. The guides were wonderfully knowledgeable and personable.

A very interesting collection of ancient weapons in a very interesting building. I enjoyed this place. It was noisy when we visited as a school group was there.

To be perfectly honest, I almost waited in the car while others went in. A little reluctant, I went in. It was a really neat museum. All sorts of different armor through the ages along with different weapons that were used. Especially liked the horse...More

Castlerock Museum has recently completed a revision of its displays. Most interesting to me are the recently added Athenian helmet dating to c.650 BC and a double-barrel wheel-lock pistol from 1591. The display of many additional period items made a return visit to this hidden...More

This museum has quite the extensive collection of arms and armor from many points in European history. Housed in a very newish and clean building. Employees were very willing to answer questions.
