We stopped at the Mystery Hole while on a road trip through West Virginias back roads. We came on it suddenly around a bend and doubled back because we got a good laugh at the structure. The staff was great and the presentation was fun. Well worth the time and the admission charge!

Mystery Hole tour was short but was fun. After years of driving by and not stopping my family thought it was time to check it out. $7.00 admission was a little steep but the uniqueness of the room that defied gravity made it easier to swallow.

This is an interesting little roadside attraction. My husband and I decided to stop and buy tickets. They are really strict about not having phones or anything else with you. You must leave everything in your car. This is more like a performance than anything. A guide walks you and a group through the attraction while making jokes and doing... More

Honestly, it was fun because you do wind up dizzy and thrown off kilter for a bit, however it's too much money for what you get. Honest to God though, if you walk in the parking lot and look over the fence at the view of the mountain behind that place...THAT my friends is worth $7 any day! I even... More

Maybe it's not fair but I have to compare it to the Mystery House in Cave City, KY since I visited both on the same trip. This is 6 times the price of the Mystery House and much smaller. The best part about The Mystery Hole is the drive to get there. The windy, mountain road was a fun and... More

This is not worth the petrol money to Druze there, it is a complete waste of time. Rubbish just a room built at an angle.

I drove far out of my way to go here, changed the days I was traveling to be here on a day they were open, and they were rude and refused to give me a tour because I was by myself and not in a group. The lady acted like I was an inconvenience to her just being there, and... More

This place was not worth the $6.50 a piece, the coolest part was the parking lot. Next time we will just stop and hang out in the lot. Instead of the Mystery Hole I suggest the Tram at the Hawks Nest Lodge. I'm pretty sure the "leave your bags and cameras and cell phones in your car" is a scam,... More

Met Will the owner of the Mystery Hole for our tour and what a character. From the first introduction he had us laughing and it never stopped. I wont spoil the experience but it certainly plays with your mind. Excellent experience and some really cool stuff in the gift shop,

My husband and I drove by this place in 1996, and I have been bugging him to go back ever since! He finally took me this past July. (2015) It was a fun trip back to childhood, where science appeared to be magical. You get caught up in the moment. But it does last merely a moment, the tour is... More
