It's hard to tell what it is at first, just between the long walk in Arlington Cemetery and The U.S. Marine Corps War Memorial, its the perfect place to take a break and relax, big open field, sweet bells!

The Carillon is a wonderful gift from The Netherlands for assistance by the US during WWII. The Carillon concerts throughout the summer are terrific, and just being there when the Carillon chimes the time every 15 minutes is lovely. This is adjacent to the Iwo...More

My husband and I walked here late at night since it was close to our hotel and the views were amazing. We sat for a little while and enjoyed the views and all the airplanes coming in! Great place for views of DC.

A gift from the people of the Netherlands to the people of the US. Beautiful music at the right time of day, and I'm sad that the tulips were out of season when I visited.

A gift to the US from the Netherlands, the structure is utilitarian and nothing special, but it sure is amazing to hear the bells at the quarter hour - a longer clanging at the top of the hour and especially during summer concerts. The setting...More

This sight looked nice as we passed it on a night bus tour. It is not very convenient otherwise based on what I could see.
