Incredible design which personalizes each individual victim. Stark when viewed in its totality on a cold windy winter day, but up close each bench is a powerful and subtle statement. Each element prompts taking the time to reflect on this unique memorial. Despite the small subtle signs in the vast parking lots directing you to the site, you are on... More

Very Serene place the lights shining underneath the airplane wings at night give it a peaceful look. So sad to notice that some of them were whole families killed because of terrorism

I live across the street from here and love coming here on night time. The green color of water that flow under each memorial gives you that serene feelings.Gls that we can memorialized those who have perished here.

We did a drive by during the day but stopped for a visit at night. It is beautiful to see the lights from the water under the benches at night, very pretty and peaceful.

I arrived here with my family this past summer, having missed out on visiting in winter 2014. We were staying essentially across the street and walked over to the Pentagon grounds in search of the memorial. If you're facing Washington, D.C., on the south end of the Pentagon, you'll walk under the bridge or through a pedestrian tunnel and head... More

This memorial is a very moving experience. It is both tasteful and extremely powerful. As a first responder to the Petagon on 9/11, this is a must see for any tourist, but especially the locals who lived through the horror of that day.

You cannot park at the Pentagon, you need to walk through the tunnel and to the back of the building. The design and layout of the monument is great, but it will rip your heart out when you see the children listed.
