Before going to Utah, I was told that Alta has the best snow in the US. Oh how I wasn't disappointed!! During my trip, I visited Snowbird and Park City/Canyons as well. Alta had the most powder and best skiing out of the three. I...More

We skied one day at Alta end of March during a week staying at Snowbird. Conditions were near white out but we still had a great day. Alta is pure and simple with a classic laid back no nonsense vibe. There is no attitude or...More

The snow, the friendly staff, Goldminer's Daughter lodge, the courteous skiers, New Year's Eve torch lights, the great ski food....I can't say enough about Alta. We've been there in the spring with 400-500 inches of snow and in December with over 100 inches. The mountain...More

Ski two resorts in the same day! The connector between Alta and Snowbird is the best ideas. Alta has the perfect terrain for our intermediate cruising needs.

They manage the hill well. From opening bowls with fresh snow to grooming as appropriate, they did it all well. No waits in line makes it an enjoyable stay.

I'm a skier and love this skier's mountain. Lots of groomed terrain and enough untouched to challenge this east coast skier. LOVE ALTA!

I am not sure, we took the ski bus in from the city the 2 days we were there. We stored our stuff for the day in Goldminers. There are racks and lockers, not sure about ski storage.
