I miss Cecret a lot. I miss Germania. But Alta is one of our favorite resorts, no doubt. No snowboards is key. But also the general buzz is so great. Don’t change! In fact, put Cecret back!

OMG this is the best place to ski out of all of the canyons in the area. It is absolutely majestic in every way and even in spring conditions, powder can be found if you go looking for it. The runs are long and wide...More

Forget about getting there on the powder days. Wild traffic in and out. This is a huge problem of the Little Cottonwood Canyon road. Poor parking organization. Snobbish old crowd. Could be long lift lines comparing to other Utah resorts. And fairly small. Not too much...More

Our trip was in early February. We paid $59 for a pass to ride 2 different ski lifts to the top of several excellent Green runs that were challenging enough to be interesting and easy enough to enjoy. There were two Blue skiers in our...More

Skiers only mountain. Moguls are round without snow board ruts. Terrain is varied and endless, with a big beginner area. They save powder by dropping ropes on a different bowl each day. As for snow, more than anywhere else. Park City is in the shadow...More

I loved Alta. The day we went (my son and I), it was snowing a lot. Unfortunately, we had whiteout conditions at the top, so that part was difficult. However, there is a great variety of terrain for all levels of skiers across the mountain....More

If you don't like powder, Alta is not for you. Don't be scared of it, get a lesson from ski school. Had an awesome morning with Walt all over mountain. Simplified skiing powder with tidbits as we went. Have fun and go see Walt!!!

Lots of powder for those who want . Groomed slopes for those who do not. Lots of skiing in bowls and in the trees. Steeps and flats for all skiers. Something for everyone.

We skied here as a family. Snow was great. Huge area. Fast lifts. Super personnel. Parking can be a challenge so arriving early can help a lot. Excellent ski area. Great views from the top when weather clear.

Alta is truly a wonderful ski experience. The views are incredible; the runs are wide and varied and fun and the whole experience is what skiing used to be, a joy to be free and enjoying the mountains.

I am not sure, we took the ski bus in from the city the 2 days we were there. We stored our stuff for the day in Goldminers. There are racks and lockers, not sure about ski storage.
