Yes there are fish, but there is so much more to explore. I recommend you ask the staff on how to best feed the animals, we fed birds and had them perch on us. There were rays, small sharks, beautiful mccaws, camens, lemurs, tourtise and...More
A couple of my friends and I decided to check out the aquarium because we had heard from friends that it was good. Seeing the building from the outside, I wasn’t sure what to expect as it just looks like a store in a strip....More
I had an amazing time at this aquarium. So much fun! They allow you to really engage with animals from stingrays, lemurs, and macaws. All of the animals are really friendly with people. Phillip demonstrated a pure passion for the species there blowing my mind...More

I took my granddaughter for a visit and she had a great time . There was many displays where she could touch the animals and fish; she really loved the bird pen where parakeets would eat out of your hands. It was a great day.

I don't remember the exact price schedule, but I do remember that it is one of the most reasonable things to do in Austin. Unlike some other aquariums I have visited, even the gift shop(s) have reasonable prices -- about half the price on all merchandise. I bought the most darling little pair of shark-shaped baby booties (great face, and wiggly teeth) for less than $10. And I am not one for souvenir-shopping. The entire place is geared to children having a great hands-on experience and really enjoying themselves while their adult counterparts also find interesting and fun things to do. Whatever the fee, it is nominal (i.e., fairly cheap).
