Our kids loved all the touchy options! Don’t be frightened by the strip mall appearance it’s great inside. I’d advise purchasing 3-5 tokens per kid and having some $1s on hand to tip a few artists and mermaids. They lost their mind offering $99 makeover...More

I don't remember the exact price schedule, but I do remember that it is one of the most reasonable things to do in Austin. Unlike some other aquariums I have visited, even the gift shop(s) have reasonable prices -- about half the price on all merchandise. I bought the most darling little pair of shark-shaped baby booties (great face, and wiggly teeth) for less than $10. And I am not one for souvenir-shopping. The entire place is geared to children having a great hands-on experience and really enjoying themselves while their adult counterparts also find interesting and fun things to do. Whatever the fee, it is nominal (i.e., fairly cheap).
