This place is amazing. All the comedians are very talented and hilarious. The place is not very big, and this is great because we are very close to the stage and the action. Awesome way to start a great down town evening/night.

I love the fact that it's right downtown on sixth Street. We went next-door and had a drink even though esters follies does serve alcohol. We had a piece of pizza from a street vendor and then went in for the show. In addition to...More

Esther's is the funniest place in Austin. If it was on TV this week it will be on Esther's stage next weekend. Funny, Fun, topical, hilarious & Magical. It's my favorite thing to do.

Esther's Follies never fails to entertain!! Esther's Follies has been around for a long time and continues to be a hit. It is worth the "parking adventure" in and around 6th street.

An Austin must do. We had a great time there. The waitstaff was extremely friendly and helpful, all the seats in the house were good, and we laughed our heads off. The jokes are always new because the topics are taken from recent news articles.

One of the funniest comedy improv shows I've ever seen. Well worth a visit, especially during the election season.

Such a great place and some of the actors were there 20 years ago...and still hilarious. I love how they update their acts to what is current in the news. No one is left out, so don't be sensitive about your particular politics. We bought...More

I have enjoyed this comedy group of and on since it started at Ester's Pool, before it burned down in the 1980s. I have seen them perform at all of their subsequent venues and it has always been good for some good hardy laughs.

I go at least once a year with friends, or with a group from Sun City. Love the comedy and the current skits, the magician is funny as well as a top notch illusionist. Patsy Cline always makes me laugh no matter how often I...More

I purchased reserved seats online. Do they email a confirmation and tickets or do I pick up at the box office the night of the performance? If so, how much time before the show should I come?

They'll email you a confirmation that has a bar code for each ticket. We printed ours out and brought with us, but they didn't even need to scan them. Because you have reserved seats, getting there 30 minutes early is... More
