I visit this area everytime I visit my family in Austin. They have areas that are filled with rocks that create natural water slides and pools. Very laid back area.

Absolutely. I didn't any picnic tables, so you'll need a blanket. There are many great places to set up a picnic. No garbage cans, so you'll need to haul out.
