Fun inexpensive park

What a fun way to have fun with your kids without going broke in the process. Pony rides, train rides, games, snacks and more.

I was looking for something for my young grandkids to do that might be fun. Well, this place exceeded my expectations for my objective. My grandkids age 2 and 4 loved it! The place could use some sprucing up, but my grandkids didn't care. For $31.00, they rode every ride in the place ( including the pony rides) I have... More

Frankly, it doesn't look like much on the outside or even the inside. In fact, it's probably a great setting for a creepy Stephen King book! However, it's quite clean and your little kids will have a great time! The rides are really adorable, despite their old age. It's small and doable in about an hour or so, which is... More

This little amusement park is all the ads suggest -- and more. It's a small park on the outskirts of town. About 10 rides from my childhood (and these are indeed 50 years old). They could use a paint job. We questioned if they were safe. But they were. And our granddaughters had a fabulous time. It wasn't overwhelming in... More

I am new to Austin and was recommended Kiddies Acres for a weekend outing. My 2.5 year old son enjoyed all the rides. He was not ready to sit on a pony but tried everything else. He must have gone on that little train 4 times! We easily killed 1.5 hours here and he just didn't want to leave! This... More

Definitely for the young but my 13 year old enjoyed the putt putt 18 hole golf. They have a variety of carnival foods for sale, tickets are very reasonable, and the pony rides kept the kids excited. We will return when traveling back to Austin.

So me and family moved to Austin 3 months back and we're on the lookout for an amusement park which is close to home and not to congested. Well, Kiddie Acres was the answer. It's true to its name. Perfect for kids and vast acres of land for rides. The management had a good old school way of treating customers.... More

This is a good place to bring the little kids. It is old and dated, so you do need to make sure you are closely supervising the kids.

This is truly a classic amusement park for young children. I was born in 1950 and I remember riding the same rides when I was just a boy. Excellent for ages six and under. If your children have not experienced this, give them a taste of history. Video games not required.
