If you love country music and enjoy dancing, this is the place to go. It is true Austin at its best and really hasn't changed much since it opened, which is who knows when and we've been going since the '80s when there was nothing...More

Tried this out as it was recommended by our bed and breakfast the decor isn't much but the history and music were fun. Theyn also had dance lessons right before the music started which was fun to watch.

Don't miss it! The best place to get acquainted to the "Texas Two Step". The band was awesome and some dancers looked real. We have enjoyed every minute of our time there. The beers are beyond standard.

Must to be place in Austin. Old place with history that is still actively functioning. Middle-aged and aged and young people dancing and the live Texas music plays. Just awesome. People invite each other to dance and enjoy their time.

It was cool seeing everyone dance to the live music. The band was good too. They charged a cover and served beer by the cup, bottle, or pitcher. Neat to check out.

We had a lot of fun. Not a huge dance floor, just enough for a good time! Service was very friendly!

I would not do wine in such a place. Beer is "de rigueur".
