It's really a funny sight to visit for young people. Because the only matérial here is junk. We went here early so there are mostly no tourists

We were told about this place by another traveller so we decided to check it out. It definitely was a rare sight and we found ourselves laughing at the random objects that make the two storey building of junk. If you have a car and...More

Fun & unique art exhibit. The material: junk. The exhibit: the artist backyard. The artist: friendly. The dogs: adorable. This place is amazing. If you don't appreciate art this may not be your thing. Everywhere you look there is something to be seen. You must...More

This is a fun, campy part of south Austin culture. Keep Austin weird is the credo of places like this small, iconoclastic attraction. If you are into funky, quirky things, go! We did & it was a hoot!

Nobody keeps Austin weird like Vince Hanneman who built this amazing dreamscape in his backyard. All made out of castoff junk and surrounded by lush vegation like passion vines and trees. I was a little worried that things weren't safe enough but when I tried...More

This is a very weird yet cool place to visit. A must see when you're in Austin. The guy whose house it is is very nice and funny and the junk collection is simply amazing. We had a lot of fun touring this!

There are multiple benches scattered throughout the backyard and a few inside the structure. It is literally in the artist's backyard, so it is not a large area. When we were there, some of the seating areas were at the back... More
