Visited the museum recently for the first time. They have done a great job incorporating both new and old technology methods into the museum which keeps all three of us entertained. The grill in the museum even has good food which was an amazing surprise. There is parking under the museum for $8 and this is well worth it! If... More

It was nice to see short videos of history events and the background of how Texas became the great state it is.

When ever anyone comes to visit us in Texas, the Bullock is the perfect place to take them too first. (Usually on the way back from the airport.) This museum does a fabulous job of giving people a great overview of what Texas is and how it all happened. Be certain to catch at least one of the movies in... More

Have been to this museum several times with out of town guests. Never get tired of going. Especially enjoy the Galveston hurricane story.

Really enjoyed our visit and getting to see exhibits that aren't the normal Texas history, especially in this area where they can sometimes become trite and repetitive. You can only Remember the Alamo so many ways before you run out of ways to interpret it. The Bullock had a fresh new take, which gave an in depth exploration to pieces... More

Well executed and very informative. This is a high end museum for all ages! You will learn Texas history that is very personal and entertains with a great video presentation and five floors of knowledge.

caught the National Parks I Max show at the Bullock Museum. It was fantastic. Very comfortable seating and the sound was excellent. There is a Big Bend National park exhibit and it is great

It's a great space but honestly there's not all that much to see and the presentation is pretty dinky. With a bit of effort it could be a great museum

One of the best of its kind. Set over three floors in a modern building this museum comprehensively covers the history of the state with lots of artefacts, scene recreations and multiple small cinema areas showing short well produced videos of many key parts of history. The large cinema presentation which runs every thirty minutes is not to be missed.... More

The Bullock Texas State History Museum is wonderful in many ways, but our favorite exhibition was on the LaBelle ship, which was fascinating. The rest of the museum is beautifully designed, with excellent signage, and the rooms are designed to convey the atmosphere of the time period. Highly recommended!
