We were very impressed not only with the tour but the organization in general. We were coming from out of town and our flight was delayed due to weather meaning we might miss the tour. I contacted Austin Eats and Andy assured us we could switch to a later tour if needed. We ended up landing just in time to... More

My husband and I really enjoyed our walking food tour on South Congress last Sunday morning. We were stuffed with delicious foods from 5 different venues and our charismatic host, Eric, graciously encouraged us to take away what we could not finish, thus providing our dinner as well as brunch! We first relished two different kinds of breakfast taco's with... More

We met our guide, John, at Licha's Cantina, on East 6th Street, at 4 PM, just in time for their Happy Hour. We had some great interior Mexico tapas, as well as our choice of drinks. We walked a short distance to each of our other four destinations, with beer or cocktails at each, except for the final stop, Gemelli's,... More

This tour was a perfect intro to the food scene in the city. First off, need to mention we had hands down, the best tour guide ever - Eric!. He was funny, knowledgeable and gave amazing insight to the food scene in an awesome city. - We started the tour @ Cuvee Coffee bar, where we each received a drink... More

WOW! Just wow!! Breakfast burrito, coco beans, BBQ, fresh Italian bread, homemade ravioli, and finally a cupcake. Fun, lots of laughs, knowledgeable tour guide, no waiting in line, and driven to each location. Seriously you will not regret taking this tour.

The Austin Eats Food Tours was a great experience, my daughter and I had a wonderful time. Each stop was spectacular, got chance to see a lot more of Austin than I would have without this tour. Great food, started with breakfast tacos, Barbeque, Brisket, Cajun sausage, pulled pork, and turkey. Also, Italian, King of Ravioli, last stop was dessert,... More

Great activity for a Sunday morning when SoCo has not awakened yet. Come hungry! There is plenty to taste. We thoroughly enjoyed the food, our guides and the folks we met on the tour. We also liked that the tour was a walking tour.

Great way to begin a Sunday in South Austin! My wife Michiko and I did this tour and we're locals. The guides were great (we had a shadow in training--2 guides = twice the knowledge shared. You'll be full by the end...lots of different things to try, and honestly it's fun talking to other couples and sharing stories about what's... More

John M was our tour guide and we had fun sampling Argentinian food, authentic Mexican, Asian fusion, Brazilian and boozy milkshakes. We had a great time and met some cool people! We were pretty full then the boozy milkshakes put us over the top. Great way to spend the afternoon.
