The trip is well organized and the stops are great. Bring an appetite. We started at Pueblo Viejo for a breakfast taco, then Hightower for chicken and waffles, then Freedmans for BBQ, sides and beer, then finally ended up at Zilker Brewery for a few beers. All VERY tasty and plentiful. Guide was awesome and funny. Tons of travel eating... More

This food tour is rated #1 on Yelp for a reason. On the day our group of 10 wanted to do a food tour in Austin, all the Austin Eats Food Tours were booked. I sent a email request to see if we get in--and was contacted by Andy, the owner of the food tour company. He quickly put together... More

We had a great time in Austin Eats Food Tours for a corporate event. The Odd Duck and Terry Blacks BBQ were outstanding as were the food trucks.

What a great way to see and taste Austin! Our guide, Scott, did a great job keeping us entertained and informed about the local food scene as well as the local neighborhoods. The food was amazing! Especially the Brisket from La Barbecue and the sandwich from Lucky's with the fresh made bread. This was definitely one of the best food... More

This tour was beyond our expectations. They really mean it when they say come with your appetite! We went to 3 amazing restaurants and got to eat some of their most popular foods. In addition we got a drink at the three restaurants and went to a bar at the end where we received another drink. Drinks included everything from... More

Austin Eats provided a unique view into Austin culture for our diverse Corporate Team Event. With folks from 9 countries around the world with significantly varying cultures, this event provided something for everyone. Working with Andy and his team to put together the right mix, timing, and transportation was the easiest team event I've ever planned. Our tour guide, Scott,... More

The Saturday brunch tour was great - I experienced many firsts - chicken and waffle, make your own Bloody Mary, breakfast tacos and my first experience of proper southern BBQ. Delicious. Jeff was a great guide who works in the food industry as his day job and his love of all things food and Austin shone through. The rest of... More

We signed up for the brunch tour, only offered on Saturday. Started at 10 at a great coffee shop. Moved on to seriously good breakfast tacos, then over to Hightower for peanut butter Brussels sprouts, chicken and waffles and a Bloody Mary bar. Then headed over to Freedman's BBQ, finished at Zilker brewery. Jeff, our guide was very informative and... More
