Every city in the country has one of the places. Upscale shopping, dining, bars and adding some businesses and apartments to pretend this is some new form of city living. Maybe it's better than the previous version of a shopping mall, and if you like...More

Lots of awesome shopping and dining. It gets a little toasty when it's hot, but there are plenty of places to chill and grab a drink.

We went on a week day during the day and it was very busy. I’m not sure I’d want to visit on the weekend due to traffic and congestion. It’s a large outdoor shopping and dining district but you can tell it draws a lot...More

Stayed at Residence Inn which was very nice and walking distance. This is an upscale area with lots of good bars, restaurants, and entertainment. If you are staying nearby you can take a train from the Kramer station to downtime. Note the last train returns...More

Really nice shopping area near the Lone Star Court. The day we were there they were having a big dog event. It was sooo much fun. The dogs were all dressed up. So fun to see all the varieties!

It's an outside mall with lots of restaurants and occasional art shows. Upscale shops. Roads in the area are confusing, making it frustrating to get to.

There are three areas to The Domain, the old part on the West side with a North and South part, and the "Northside" which is actually East of the old part ("East" in Austin has unsavory associations so they call it Domain Northside!)

Every thing you could want in one neighborhood, loved all the shops and the live entertainment, It can be a bit pricey but well worth the adventure.

It depends on the traffic. It could take as little as 20 min or as long as 45. If it's a heavy traffic day, I record mend taking Burnet Road to 45th Street or and jog over to Guadalupe into downtown.
