Overall the bat experience was cool but the bats will always be there and I would choose a different tour solely for the fact that you can't hear the narrator. They desperately need a microphone my husband and I had to entertain ourselves for the...More

Just $10 each to cruise around, learn a bit more about Austin, and about the native bats. It was a much better place to see them flying out than the bridge (and the bridge was pretty amazing, too!). Sit toward the front of the boat...More

Took family from out of town to see the bats but the boat “broke down” 10 minutes before the bats came out. While we floated out of view of the bats the “captain” didn’t say a word about what was happening. We all just sat...More

Kari, So sorry about this experience. We had some issues with all of the debris in the lake which caused a motor issue. You are the last group on the boat that we have not contacted, but we will be reaching out to you today....More

Walking up to the pier, we were greeted by two smiling employees who had great recommendations for the rest of our stay in the city. Then, upon boarding the boat, we were shown where the complimentary coolers of drinks were located. Talk about customer service!...More

Louis, Thanks for posting and we hope you enjoyed your stay in Austin. Of course getting out on the lake is one of the best things, but we're a little biased ;) Give us a call next time!

I signed my husband and I up for the bat cruise when I saw a special about the bats on the Weather Channel. Although the tour does take you to see the bats at sunset, they are actually a very small component of the cruise....More

Thanks for taking the time to post and glad you enjoyed the cruise. Of course the bridge and shoreline are good places to watch, but the view from the water is the best. We look forward to getting you out on the water nest time!

Took my parents and a friend to see the bats. Leah was absolutely wonderful. Learned so many things about Austin downtown buildings I had no idea about it (I Live here). Seeing the bats come out from the boat was awesome better than seeing them...More

We went to Austin for the first time and had read about the bats. It was even more spectacular than expected. The tour was about an hour and was quite interesting. The tour guide went down the lake a ways and told us all about...More

Every tourist to Austin should be sure to see the bats! It was so cool to watch them come out and flood the sky. We booked our tickets online and paid for them ahead of time. Check in was quick and easy. I would recommend...More
