This is the highest point in Austin with overlooking on the river . Very recommended to arrive before sunset. There are many stars but it worth it.

It was worth the time to visit what is really more of a hill with a great view of the surrounding area. We walked up the 104 steps from the car but walked back on the Rocky path.

stopped here as we were leaving town, and glad we did. you get a nice view of the skyline in the distance, and of the huge homes along the river (or "lake" as they call it)

Terrible climb. View not worth the risk. Not a safe place to be. The guy I went with carried(concealed) and I was glad!

We went up mount bonnell for a nice hike. Great view of the Colorado river and beautiful home that sit on the banks. You can also see the 360 bridge as well.

Yes. They have picnic tables & trash cans there in assorted areas but be prepared for a few people passing by & possibly asking for a bite of food!

Not long at all, maybe ten or fifteen minutes. It's not really a trail, just a set of steps up to the top from the parking area. It's absolutely worth doing, though, because its the best view in Austin.
