We have gone to the Trail of Lights for many years, but it's getting worse and worse. There are too many people trying to get in at once, and little ones cannot see at all. They open at 7 PM unless you want to buy zip tickets which are $20 each, so for a family of 4 it's $80 to... More

As an out-of-town visitor, I thought Zilker park was supposed to be the best place for kids. I was disappointed. The playground is worn and old. The tram ride was okay but doesn't always operate as listed on websites. We accidentally got stuck on the path and couldn't easily get off due to the Trail of Lights. Best to drive... More

Scenic park that is relaxing and a must see if you have time when visiting Austin. Shows Austin is way more than just bars.

The water is quite cool but it is a great place to picnic and play in the water and rocks. Great place for older kids and adults not toddlers

A nice getaway so close to the city. Saw it from a small tour van and decided to go back.A secret park that is often not crowded.

This is a beautiful park! We went there in the evening and daytime. The evening to see the beautiful Christmas lights and the daytime to ride the Zephir train. You won't be disappointed!

For a local, this maybe a wonderful spot to relax, but for a tourist, there is not much to see in terms of landscape, gardens, water activites or other amenities that you might find in a big city park.
