The Central Park of north Arlington. Beautiful to walk/bike/jog. In hot weather, there are trails sheltered by trees so you won't swelter. Lots of picnic areas, but get there early to reserve a spot. The Nature Center is a quick and informative visit and gives information about local plants and trees. Recommended.

There are approximately 17 round trip miles of paved path for walking and riding, as well as off trail paths for the more adventurous. You will see wildlife around almost every turn. Bobcat, armadillo and the occasional coyote can be seen. Great place for the family wanting some time outdoors.

Picnic areas and children’s playgrounds needs a modernization. Parking in central places is also a problem. There should be more parking spaces. Picnic areas should also be separated from each other for more coziness. Nature in the area is beautiful and nice for recreation.

If you're looking for a park with scenery and good bike or hiking trails this one is good. You may even see some wildlife while there. We've enjoyed taking our bikes and riding for a couple of ours. We've been to beautiful weddings there and had family picnics. The education center has great programs for the kids too! You don't... More

Fantastic family spot. Super. Spend an hour or spend the day. Wildlife is present. Bring insect repellent.

Biking through River Legacy is my favorite summer getaway due to extensive shade trees along the Trinity River. There are seven paved miles secluded through nature, and many other miles of paved trails near playgrounds and roads. Also, there are mountain bike trails winding through the trees, unpaved, for the more adventurous biker. Whether you walk, run, hike or bike,... More

The children enjoyed this place. Indoor exhibits are very limited, but our young children enjoyed them. The adults were bored, but the kids were happy. We were glad there was no admission fee.

Thank you so much for the review! We are in the middle of a capital campaign to totally renovate our exhibit hall and to add museum-quality exhibits that reflect the natural, native habitat of the Trinity River Riparian Forest! We are aiming to have the renovation complete by 2018, so be sure to come back and visit then. We are... More

For many years I've been coming to this park to walk and jog and I've always enjoyed the amount of open land available to do so many different activities. It's not unusual to see a Bobcat or other wildlife every now and then. It's a safe environment to be in and a fun one, too. I try to visit several... More

Miles of walking trails under a tree canopy, also a ramp for accessing the Trinity Rjver paddling trails. Excellent circuit for walking, jogging, biking and paddling .

You are in nature in the middle of the city. There are miles of paved trails with lots of trees to keep you cooler as you adventure through.
