If you like to see great homes of the past this is a must do in Amarillo,Texas. This was the home of Don and Sybil Harrington and it contains a fantastic collection of memorabilia of the famous family.

We are spending the weekend in Amarillo and would love to tour this house. Disappointed that tours are only available Tuesday & Thursday.

A beautiful home with lots of history in it. You will enjoy this historic home located downtown Amarillo. They do tours but only 6 people at a time and they don't make any exceptions. Very much worth seeing this home.

I have been there once. The home is really nice with period furnishings. The tours are limited so plan this carefully

This is the "Jewel of Amarillo." If you like nostalgia and lovely architecture and life style, go see this. Advance reservations for Harrington House must be made.

This is a beautiful home and such a gift to be able to step back in time and see how this wonderful family lived. The china and glassware from all over the world was especially delightful to me as well as the silk wall coverings and rugs. Simply beautiful.

This "preserved not restored" home is well worth a visit. The free tour allows you to not only see this amazing home but learn small details that makes the tour so special. Tours are limited to 4 people and provided by 2 extremely knowledgeable docents. Loved every minute and if get the chance will do it again.

The preservation of this period mansion gives visitors a memorable insight into the home of its wealthy, well connected, cultured owners. A walk through the home is a walk through design history as well as through social history.
