Very interesting and educational Very glad we took the time to visit. The information personnel were very friendly and expanded on all the exhibits and treasures of the Big Bend and surrounding area.

Very well done museum of the Big Bend area. Great old photos, objects, and historical presentations. Some presentations are video-audio and others are just audio. The gift shop was well stocked with very interesting art objects. All reasonably priced.

What it has is good. I just expected it to be bigger. I mean c'mon, the Big Bend is huge. The museum of the Big Bend....Not so much.

Stop by if your are interested in the history of the Big Bend. Kid-friendly. Interesting exhibits. Nice gift shop.

A great little museum on the campus of Sul Ross state college. Very informative of the histroy of Big Bend. Would recommend.

This museum is located on the campus of Sul Ross and is free to the public. Good combination of history and info on geography/sights. There is a nice gift shop of tasteful items. Recommend if you have a couple of hours

Located on the SRSU campus, the admission is free, the exhibits aren't grandiose (you're crazy if you think you'll find a Smithsonian-y museum in a town like Alpine), but it's not bad for a city that boasts a population of under 6,000 residents. My favourite...More
