This was worth the stop on our way to Austin from Lubbock (but then again, I love books!). It's a small museum but very tasteful. The docent was knowledgable and approachable and filled us in on the history of how this museum came to be....More

The art classes and activities they have for kids are amazing. They learned so much in a short period of time offering a variety of projects they could choose to complete. Great staff with awesome stories!

The center itself only had a small area with original art on the walls. We did enjoy hunting the various sculptures of storybook characters in the vicinity.
