A great place for a stroll, and to enjoy nature. It is only a few minutes drive from downtown Aiken. At Christmas, it is a wonderland, with the Christmas lights and the music. Adults, and kids, will love it. Get the directions on where to...More

We had out of state visitors and we took them to Hopeland to walk through and enjoy a spectacular day. The lovely plantings and amazing Live Oak trees are a must see. Take a blanket and a lunch and soak in the sun.

I love walking the trails and looking for rocks. My grandson always goes with me and he gets so excited about the different trails.

One of the best things to do for free in Aiken, in my opinion. Plenty of beautiful trees and shaded trails. If you want to go inside the doll house, it's only open on Sundays from 2-5pm (which didn't help us on a Monday). We...More

Wished I would have had more time to walk along all the paths. Visited after an afternoon rain. Bring mosquito repellent. Very nice!

Hopeland Gardens is one of my favorite places in Aiken SC. With all of the shade it is even nice in July. Absolutely a hidden treasure and a wonderful place to enjoy our southern topiary.

There is a sign at the entrance that says you must pay to take professional pictures. There is info there about how to schedule photo shoots.
