"The Drowsy Chaperone" was SO much fun -- all the performers were top notch. The musical is a Valentine to the over-the-top 1920s/30s Busby-Berkeley style extravaganzas, and as the narrator explains, a good escape no matter what else is going on in the world. The...More

We went to a Sunday afternoon performance of The Drowsy Chaperone which was delightful and the building was cool as the building is air conditioned. I had a spinach salad which included fresh spinach greens, tomatoes and watermelon. My wife had sorbet and fruit. The...More

We saw the Drowsy Chaperone. I'm giving it a poor rating based on food & service, not the play. The play was goofy but the singing, tap dancing and acting was top notch. Just don't order dinner. My salad was warm on top and cold...More

The intimate venue meant that we felt like we were part of the play. The players had great voices even though the plot was pure slapstick! Our service was excellent.

A great evening of musical entertainment but missed out the dinner that we had placed reservation due to an unforeseen incident on that evening. The stove in their restaurant kitchen malfunctioned and could not prepare dinner but was only able to serve appetizers and deserts....More

We enjoyed this theater on a Monday night when OSF has no offerings. The theater is situated in what was originally a Baptist Church. The interior is interesting and well done up. We were seated in the balcony overlooking the stage. The meal was excellent--great...More

We really enjoyed this meaningful music from the 1930's and 1940's. Great job by the singers and musicians. The food is good, but not great. Overall the whole experience is quite enjoyable-and look forward to the next time we come here.

Teenage children should not be a problem - if younger, then you may want to check. Food is moderately expensive, but the appetizers and desserts are under $10.00
