Some of the houses were kept up very well. All the 80 something houses all have plaques on the front of the house. It can be a pretty long walk. We decided to drive down the streets and look at them.

This is a wonderful drive by all of the old homes. Some are restored and have the house names and date built on the front. Several were open for tours. I understand there are several walking tours available with maps from the visitors center.

Great historic district with many restored homes very much worth seeing. A walking tour brochure can be obtained from the Visitors Bureau.
