My friend had her wedding here. It was beautiful. The pictures look like we were on an island somewhere. The venue was very clean.

Great place to relax with a picnic or dog walking. Take a blanket relax in the sun, walking shoes are best for the trails.

Beautiful hike! Doing both trails is 5.2 miles. A lot of elevation change with some long steep hills. Great views over the lake with opportunity to see bald eagles. Windsurfer was out on a brisk January day while I was there.

The Boating facilities are excellent and the lake is very large so you can always find a spot to ski or tube and not have to worry about other boaters in the way. There are a lot of coves and beaches that provide a great...More

We have camped with a pop up and 22 ft travel trailer at Crosswinds at Jordan Lake over the years. The sites are well designed, spacious, more private than any non state park campground I have seen. The bath houses are well kept and trash...More

Used to be a great place to fish, picnic and/or just enjoy the great outdoors. On weekends it is now being over run by huge numbers of folks from the nearby cities making it nearly impossible for an individual, couple or small family to find...More

Great Lake for boating and swimming. We generally go late afternoon, have dinner on the lake and relax.

The Boat ramps and swimming areas are separate due to safety reasons. Jordan is 550 acres just get in your boat and look for a place to swim.

Dogs aren't allowed at the beach area, however, I've let me Labs away from the beach and never had a ranger approach me. I would call the ranger station and ask to make sure.
