Picnic park with lake and cool mountain coaster attraction
Sep 2018 • Friends
I visited Goksu Park as part of a tour of Turkish amusement parks with a large group of thrill riders from Europe and USA. We visited specifically to ride their short mountain coaster Dağ Kızağı which has a track length of 1837ft. It was a fun attraction although slower and quite short in comparison to other installations of this type of ride.

Goksu Park also has a number of BBQ ovens for picnics and a pleasant lake area, although the park is surrounded by tall buildings and not the greenest or most attractive of city parks. Worth a short visit to ride the mountain coaster though.

Beautiful
Jul 2018 • Couples
This park is great for couples, friends and families to spend time at. There is plenty to do and great food available. The nighttime view is really pretty because the park is surrounded by tall buildings. I highly recommend visiting :)

A different park
Dec 2017
Goksu Park is not your usual park. For those like us who are used to parks with lots of trees, plants, flowers and the like , this is not it! Still it is good if you want to get out of the house and go somewhere else with the family, for a BBQ perhaps! Also it is far away from the city centre, so be prepared to travel.

Do not think that it is an urban park.
May 2016 • Family
Do not think that it is an urban park with proper facilities. If you want to join hundreds of Ankara citizens for a holy kebap festival every weekend (cook yourself eat yourself) which is a national hobby; you're welcome. Otherwise do not try to drive for 20 kms for nothing.

Nice place to relax, but not easy to reach.
Sep 2016 • Friends
It is a nice park if you want to ride a pedal boat, have a meal beside the lake (or bring your own food and have a picnic), and generally relax. However, it is not close to the city center and is generally a bit of a hassle to reach.

Distant and time loss
Dec 2014 • Solo
It is laid in a satellite-city, Eryaman, in Ankara. Only a large manmade-lake, but nothing else. Don't waste your time.

Love Goksu!
Jul 2015 • Family
Our favorite park in Ankara, it is outside of the city center so it is less crowded and more relaxing. Lots of activities paid and free. It has what we'd call in America, an Alpine Roller coaster which is pretty fun and a decent price. Paddle boats, a fun train ride for the kids that the whole family can ride on. It has lots of playground equipment spread throughout the park. The castle playground at the top is pretty run down and slightly dangerous (in an American mindset) but our kids still love climbing on the walls there. It is now 7tl to park but anything else is optional if you want to pay to do something.

Nothing Special
Feb 2015 • Solo
A pond with a few trees. Nothing special for a European.

Also far away from the city center and over crowded with local men.
