A little hectic and yet exciting place to visit and view a perfect panorama of the city of Ankara. Locals and Internationals easily mingle and enjoy the friendship.

Although the Castle itself is just the remaining exterior walls the view is fabulous from the top. Surrounding the castle grounds are historic houses, shops and a Museum. Great place to visit and no fees to enter.

The Ankara Castle and its environs is in a much better state now compared to just 10 years ago, thanks to the restoration works of Ankara Municipality. There are many shops and restaurants you can enjoy while walking around the castle.
