The Ankara Castle and its environs is in a much better state now compared to just 10 years ago, thanks to the restoration works of Ankara Municipality. There are many shops and restaurants you can enjoy while walking around the castle.

If you have just 2 hour time to visit ankara i offer you: take the taxi from airport and go there it’s breathtaking view of ankara. I loved there and that cute traditional streets full of colourful crafts

Ankara castle is a nice place to visit. You can find traditional shops. Most of the time it is crowded. If you go to the top, you can have a good view of Ankara.

You can go there anytime, no visiting hours but I would recommened to go there before it gets drak that you can see the view of all Ankara. No fee entrance. Sunset time is the best time. If you you earlier you can visit few... More
