Ankara castle is the most historical place in Ankara. The scene is amazing from the top of the castle. There are a lot of cute antique shops in there. You can buy souveniers, paints, jewellery from these shops.

This is an open air place with a nice area to walk through and look for nick nacks, but don't expect a pay entry castle with majestic rooms and museum. Perfect round view from one of the main walls

We had a nice day visit to the castle and surrounding areas but the castle is very unsafe - especially with children. Lots of steep dropoffs with no railings. Not a good place for kids. It is a shame that they have spent a lot...More

Awesome area to walk around. This will be the best place to do souvenir shopping. Plenty of local restaurants to get some local flavor. You may not be able to find many English speaking people in this area. The streets are narrow and have a...More
