I loved Quiapo church because of solemnity and peace I felt everytime I visited the place. It reminds me of fatherly love that abounds the place. Though I am a Catholic, I am still amazed at the faith of the people.

Expect too many people there. Cheap market place at the back of Church wherein you can buy cheap clothes, shoes and food. But always be careful and watch your pocket from bad people around.

The landmark is the heart of Old Manila culture: Insanely religious, incessantly busy yet ominously muted acoustically in the basilica's immediate environs. While no wrong doing has ever befallen me here, it is best to be more vigilant than normal because even the locals will...More
