Landmark tower

Its just a small tower which is a historical landmark. We passed by it multiple times when in Mahe; and its not something to stop by and spend time.

A piece of British history in Central Victoria. Dates back to 1903. The Clocktower is one of Seychelles' national monuments. Seen as part of day trip to Victoria.

The Victoria Clock tower is simply the Capital’s iconic landmark and a great place of reference when asking for or giving directions. It is one of the oldest if not oldest historical features and likely the most popular landmark in the Capital. The clock tower is a smaller replica of the clock tower on London’s Vauxhall bridge (installed between Vauxhall... More

The Clock Tower in Mahe is unique as no visitor will pass by without noticing it. The tower is not special by any standards yet it's prominence makes visitors remember this structure more than anything else in Victoria. My wife recollected that she walked from the port to the Clock Tower area some decades ago. Munir D.

It is worth a "turn your head" if you walk through this town, but it is not a target to go. For geocachers it is a place to stop. Most tourist focus on the pizzeria nearby.

I think maybe some reviews were unfair concerning this monument. Of course one shouldn't expect a half-day visit to a clock, but me and my wife found it absolutely lovely. It's a very small replica of the Big Ben which represents the old colonialism and its spirit by giving a small sample of the British empire to foreign lands. You'll... More

Looks artificial to my perdonal mind. A strange piece of sightseen: silver copy of Big Ban. Was not impressed at all... But, as there are not too much to see in Victoria, come just to tick the box :-)

If you're downtown in Victoria, make sure you take a pic of it. It's in the middle of a busy intersection. You just have to stand on one of the corners and take a pic. That's about it.

Its a small clock tower in the middle of a junction .. was pretty disappointing. Its so small that one can even miss it if you pass by it. I wont even call this an attraction.

This is in the middle of a roundabout in the middle of Victoria. It's nothing special if you ask me but good to take a few pictures with. Keep in mind that although it isn't special, it is conveniently located close to all other attractions in Victoria.
