When you say "clock tower" you expect it. But not in this case in Victoria. It is a clock but not size of the tower, so we were a bit disappointed when we saw it...

This curious structure has an almost iconic status in Victoria and appears to represent a meeting or central point in the city. It looks like a copy of big ben but apparently is a copy of a structure on one of London's bridges

It's impossible to miss this landmark. It's situated in the middle of a crossroad in the center of town.

Certainly I would not walk or drive more than 100 meters to see this landmark in the centre of Victoria. I give it 3 star because the historical value and there is no much to see in Victoria but overall is just a small clock

While the location makes it quite difficult to get up close to this clock tower it is a central feature of Victoria and ties the island back to London and Victorian times. The tower has lasted remarkably well given the environment!

If you're in Victoria you should check this out as it's one of the classic images. It's a beautiful clock tower and an interesting spot to experience the local traffic.

It is a very interesting architectural piece, but it is a shame you cannot get close to it as it is in a middle of the street, serving as a roundabout.

HI I stayed in super nice AirBnB on the east side of Mahe island, look for owner Judy. The island has a fantastic bus system that will take you just about everywhere (even the airport) and follows the main road around the... More
