The mosque was nice and made of coral, this intrigued me. The information about the mosque is placed outside the entrance. There is a dress code placed outside although it seemed like it wasn't being followed in general.

If you are on maafushi island you will not miss any of its attractions since it is so small . You will anyway find them even if you are not looking for them. This one is good one in the middle of the island.

The mosque was there for really long time. It is a traditionally-built building with no nails used. Great if u love some historic and traditional architecture and engineering.

A 350 y/o Mosque made of corals.. with tombs around made also of choral stones... if the coral tomb is pointed the deceased is Male, and if its curved, its Female. A must must visit!
