We did this today with a guide & enjoyed it very much. The old palace which is now a museum is quite beautiful. It is interesting to learn about the building itself & also about the past Kings & present King of Malaysia. I really don't think that this would have been as interesting without a guide.

There is nothing much to see or do here. You can just click your photos from the outside. The architecture of the palace is good but you can't enter. The arrangements for tourists like washrooms is good.

You can only look at it from outside the gate. If you're on a city tour bus, no point getting down for this.

You cannot go in. You can only stand, look and take pictures by the gates. The building is quite far inside. You can see the grandeur of the palace grounds through the gates and take pictures with the guards (one of them is on horseback). As Kuala Lumpur doesn’t have a lot of sights anyway, it would be recommended to... More

You only get to view this place from the outside and take picture at the gate and peek through them. Dont spend too much time here.

You can only see a few things from outside the gate. Also, it is not that accessible by public transport. The view, though, is fascinating.
